Mary Ann Ingram



It is with great sadness that the family of Mary announces her passing on February 12, 2019.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Hugh (Fran) and Stewart (Cynthia); 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bridgid Desjarlais and Theresa Young; numerous relatives and friends.

Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charlie (1977); son Wayne “Bud”; daughter Maureen Winczura.

Mary was born in Cookstown, Ireland, February 20, 1921. She emigrated at a young age to a remote farm in northern Alberta where she met and married, Charlie Ingram, a smooth-talking man who she loved more than life itself. Together they moved to Edmonton and raised their 4 children. In 1977, she was widowed, but she continued to be a rock to her family. She lived life as a strong independent widow for over 40 years. Mary will be remembered for her strength, love and grace.

A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmotnon.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Basillica, 10044 - 113 Street, Edmonton.
