It is with great sadness the family of Mike announce his passing at the age of 96 years.

He is lovingly remembered by his children: Daryl (Liz), Leanne (Dennis), Linda and David; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; two sisters, Elenora and Rose, as well as Rita and other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his daughter Valerie; his parents and step father; 5 brothers: Gabe, Rinaldo, Ric, Sam and Felix; 2 sisters, Leonora and Ange.

Mike was a man with a passion for fishing and wood working which he did up until his 95th year. He was creative and had an artistic talent and enjoyed making Christmas envelopes every year for all the family, he had a wonderful sense of humour and a fantastic memory. He had many different careers during his lifetime including the Royal Canadian Airforce and a Fireman with Public Service Canada for 29 years. He will be greatly missed by all.

Cremation has taken place, as per Mike’s wishes no service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation ,5241 Calgary trail NW Suite 144, Centre 104 Edmonton, AB T6H 5G8 or to the Sturgeon Community Hospital Foundation, 201 Boudreau Road, St. Albert, AB T8N 6C4

A Special Thank you, to the staff at the Sturgeon Hospital and all the many care givers Mike had over the past year, for your compassion and care.
