Obituary
On June 02, 2018, Cor passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, with his family by his side.
Cor is survived by his loving wife, Truus (Trudy), of 67 years; his 6 loving children, Helena (Ron), Trudy (Rod), Dick (Susan) Maryann (Ron), Rose (Brian) Corry (Eileen); 18 loving grandchildren and 19 wonderful great-grandchildren; as well as two sisters, Gre and Truus.
Cor was predeceased by his son, Hans in 1987; both parents, six brothers and four sisters. Cor's amazing legacy is his loving family. He enjoyed spending time with each and every one of them. He loved attending all family celebrations and was proud of his family's accomplishments. Cor also had a love of travel and music. Retired at a young age, he traveled extensively, as most remember, using the campervan throughout North America, but also enjoyed traveling to Europe. His love of music never stopped, mastering the harmonica and playing his accordion in regular musical jam sessions. Cor had 89 years of life's stories, that he enjoyed sharing with family and friends.
Cor had such zest for life. He will be remembered for always having a happy, positive disposition, for never being afraid to try something new, and to change when needed. Cor was an inspiration to all who knew him. He will always be in our hearts.
