Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim on April 6, 2018, at the age of 94 years. Jim will be dearly missed by daughters, Sandra (Glenn) Woolsey, Mary-Jane (Kerry Anderson), son, Jim (Sherry Taylor); 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry; and dear friend Maybelle McArthur. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret; eldest daughter Judith; and brothers, Tom and John. Jim was born and raised in Edson, AB, married Margaret in 1945, and they settled in Edmontonís Queen Mary Park neighbourhood where they raised their four children and established lasting friendships. Jim lived his 94 years with great family pride and a passion for music and dancing. As a World War II veteran, he was an active member and supporter of the Kingsway Legion. We wish to convey our heartfelt thanks to the medical staff of Unit 5E4 at the UAH, caregiver Linny Aberia, as well as Nurse Brandi and the team at Rosedale Estates.

In Loving Memory of
James "Jim" Laviolette
