Lucien Raymond Joseph Magnan



It is with great sadness that the family of Lucien Raymond Joseph Magnan, of Sturgeon County, Alberta, announce his passing.

Lucien was predeceased by his mother, Leontine and father, Calite; one brother, Emile and sister, Sr. Irene.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Juliette, and three children: Alice (Claude), Réal (Carolyn), Aline (Mark); six grandchildren: Christine, Damien, Curtis, Breanna, Nathan, and Kaitlyn; extended family from both the Pomerleau and Magnan families, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Lucien worked at Atco Structures, and retired after 35 years with the company.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 13, 2017 at St. Peter Catholic Parish, #55 54200 RR 265, Villeneuve, Alberta. An Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Westlawn Cemetery, 16310-Stony Plain Road, Edmonton, Alberta.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Light Up Your Life Society; Tri-Community Palliative, 4405 South Park Drive, Stony Plain, AB, T7Z 2M7 or West Sturgeon Aging In Place Foundation; Operating West Country Hearth, 26504 SH 633, Sturgeon County, AB, T8T 1R9.
