It is with deep sorrow and profound love that the family of Norma Jean Mastrangelo, announce her peaceful passing on March 14, 2017 at the age of 69 years in St. Albert, Alberta.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Dean (Tracy); grandchildren, Carmya and Masyn; sisters, Beverly Baker, Cheryl (Earl) Sampson; brother, Carson (Jeanette) MacDonald; sisters-in-law: Maria Corea, Livia (Mario) Pecile, Rose (Sal) Iameo, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Ralph; sisters, Pamela and Patricia; parents, Norman and Courtine; and brother-in-law, Tony.

Norma grew up in Springhill, Nova Scotia and loved spending her summers with her siblings and cousins at nearby Heather Beach. After completing her nursing education in Montreal, Norma’s career took her to Whitehorse where she later met and married Ralph. They loved the people and lifestyle of the Yukon where they raised their son. After Ralph’s passing, Norma returned to Halifax and then later joined Dean and his family in St. Albert.

Norma was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed many years of cheering on Ralph, Dean and recently her grandkids. She also loved to travel and filled her passports with wonderful adventures and memories.

At Norma’s request, no service will be held.
