Obituary

Reid passed away suddenly at his home in St. Albert on Friday, November 25, 2016, at 65 years of age.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Charleen Currie; sons, Angus Lillico of Edmonton, AB and Alastair Lillico of Toronto, ON; brother, Richard Lillico of Saskatoon, SK; sister, Jane Lillico of San Jose del Cabo, Mexico; and her son Taylor Mason of Calgary, AB; mother-in-law Patricia Currie and sister-in-law Sheila Currie of Sarnia, ON and many relatives and close friends.

Reid was predeceased by his parents, Eileen and John Lillico of Prince Albert, SK; and father-in-law, Lorne Currie of Sarnia, ON.

Reid was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and spent nearly 40 years in Prince Albert, SK; many of which were in the general insurance business with his father. In 1990, Reid, Charleen, along with their boys, relocated to St. Albert, AB. Reid continued in the insurance business and specialized in risk management and business consulting. He also volunteered generously (like his mother Eileen had) with the: Northern Alberta Business Incubator, St. Albert Rotary Club, St. Albert Elks Club, Sturgeon Community Hospital Foundation, St. Albert Victims Services, St. Albert Affordable Housing Association and the St. Albert PC Constituency Association. His latest volunteer interest was with the Salvation Army Christmas kettle drive in St. Albert.

Reid loved watching rugby games and supported St. Albertís rugby club. He loved anything Scottish particularly events celebrating Robbie Burns. Charleen and Reid have just returned in October from a luxury tour of Scotland celebrating their 31st wedding anniversary and both of their 65th birthdays.
