Our family helping your family since 1908 - Generations of Excellence

Stanley Lund

Stan will be very missed by his siblings and childhood pals, Harvey, Mary Nels and Nielda. Uncle Stan is remembered as a kind, generous and special person by Walter, Lisa and Catherine. Rick, Brent, Judy and Ofer have many happy memories of him. We know that he is with Helen now and that lightens our hearts. Thanks for the laughter Stan. You will always be in our thoughts.

Stan was born in Edmonton. In high school he was proud to be a swimmer and track athlete. For a short time he enjoyed boxing. As a young man he particularly enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He played rugby for years and was known to his rugby friends as ‘Stash’. Stan was a business owner and he relished the buying and selling of truck parts first at Lunds Auto Wreckers and later at Nor-Am Light Truck Parts. He was a dedicated participant of AA and had many friends who thought very highly of him. He loved animals, especially dogs. In his last years the companionship of his friends and many caregivers meant a great deal to him.

He was predeceased by his best friend and life soul mate Helen. He will be missed by her family, Step-daughter, Ivy Stanley (Gerry); Step-son Wade Johnson (Wendolyn); Step-son, Terry Johnson (Cathie); granddaughters, Erin and Mandi (Nick); grandsons, Reid (Laura) and Lane (Mckenzie). He was Great Grandpa Stan to Emery, Jaklin, Jeffery, Taylor, Abigail, Macy and Colton.

Stan was a truly unique character and he added a spark to our lives. Rest well Stan.

In Loving Memory of
Stanley Lund
