Obituary

Kay Banner, born in Vancouver, B.C., passed away peacefully at the age of 94.

She is survived by her sons, Ken and Keith (fiancÚ Joan); granddaughters, Victoria and Morgan; nephew, Craig; niece, Kelly; and brother-in-law, Ian Newsholme. She was predeceased by her husband, Til; and sisters, Sheila Newsholme and Marion Simpson.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Deanna Mayhew, Ted Barton and Ruth Paprotka, whose unconditional love and support allowed Kay to stay in her own home until she was 92.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the staff at Lynwood for their excellent care and compassion.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street NW, Edmonton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mustard Seed or the Red Cross.
