He will be forever loved and remembered by his wife, Helen, of 49 years; daughter, Alyson; sister, Betty (Terry) of West Vancouver, BC, and their son Andrew; also brother Jim (Margot) of Edmonton, AB, and their son Warren; extended family and friends.

Born in Vegreville, AB on February 23, 1937 to Peter and Mary Hrynyk, David was raised in neighbouring Mundare before the family moved to Edmonton in the 1950s.
