Sister Helene Fedoruk



Sister Helene passed away peacefully at Providence Centre surrounded by her religious sisters.

She is survived by the members of her religious community, the Sisters of Charity of N.D. Evron.

Sister Helene leaves to mourn, her sister Olga Mandrusiak; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; 7 sisters and 5 brothers.

Sister Helene made her religious profession in 1942 and spent her life dedicated to serving others in various communities. She retired to our senior’s residence in 2005 and then moved to the assisted living at Providence Centre in 2012.

Visitation will be held at Providence Centre on Sunday, February 7, 2016 between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Reverend John Hesse will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at Providence Centre Chapel, 3005-119th St., Edmonton on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for the Missions of the Congregation, C/O 8537 – 89 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T6C 3K4.
