Obituary

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Margaret on December 10, at the age of 74 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Shirley Dyck (Norman) of St. Albert; nephew, Peter Dyck of St. Albert; niece, Karen Stephenson (Alan) and great-nephews: Owen and Luke of Sherwood Park; sister-in-law, Hazel Hubbard of Winnipeg, Manitoba; nephew, Sean Hubbard (Karen) and great-nephews: Thomas and Adam; and great-niece, Sarah of Trenton, Ontario; niece, Kristine Thorlakson (Ian); and great-nephew, Bennett; and great-nieces: Elsbeth and Signey of Winnipeg, Manitoba; cousins: Robert and Sharon. Margaret will be missed by her friends at the Mission Hill Village Condominium in St. Albert. Her nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces will miss their Auntie Margaret.

Margaret was born in Stonewall, Manitoba and at the age of 11 years moved to Winnipeg with her parents, brother and sister. She loved school and joined in many activities, including the Technical-Vocational High School band, playing the piccolo. Upon leaving school, Margaret enjoyed employment at Guaranty Trust Company and Grace Construction, retiring to caregiver in 2001 for her mother.

Margaret was predeceased by her mother, Rose (July 2008); father, Thomas (1982); and brother, Jack (June 2008).

Cremation took place and at Margaretís request, her final resting place will be Stonewall, Manitoba, where a grave-side celebration of her life will be held July 2016. Notification will be published therewith.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in the area of your residence.

The family wishes to send a special thank-you to the staff of Sturgeon Hospital, the St. Albert paramedics and the Tudor Glen Medicentre. Your efforts were truly appreciated and will be remembered.

In Loving Memory of
Margaret R. Hubbard
