Our family helping your family since 1908 - Generations of Excellence

Judy Finlay

Today September 13, 2015, I would like to tell the world of the passing of my beautiful sister Judy Lynn Finlay (nee: Soloman). She fought a great battle never giving up once, but in the end she succumbed to cancer. To all present day cancer patients and past cancer patients who have beaten this beast, stand up and shake your fist in the air at cancer and say, “I will not let you take my dignity or my soul”, as my sister did to the end. Although Judy didn’t have any children of her own, she had a great extended family. She was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews who she loved so much and treated each and every one of them as if they were her children. She now is in a better place, re-united with her parents June and Irvin. To all my sister’s friends I would like to thank you, especially Kim, for being her friends. She also loved each and every one of you. Judy is survived by her husband Bob, a great man and lifelong friend. I will deeply miss my beautiful sister, but I never said goodbye, only see you later. She will walk beside me until we meet again. She was so gracious and well-respected by all that met her. I love you. Judy

In Loving Memory of
Judy Finlay
