Obituary

It is with heavy hearts we announce that Alcide passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and the caring staff of the Misericordia Intensive Care Unit. Al was born in Edmonton and raised in Beaumont, Alberta, the eldest of nine to George and Yvette Goudreau. He was a loving husband, father, papere, brother, uncle and friend to all. He will be fondly remembered and is survived by; his wife Teresa; son Christopher (Deanne) and their children, Livia and Kale; son Jeffrey (Brandi) and their children, Quinn, Ava and Chase; daughter Jennifer (Brett); siblings Ernie (Louise), Richard (Marlene), Irene (Ted), Diane (Gilles), Martin, Joe (Audrey); sister-in-law Marie; as well as extended family and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Yvette; brothers Michel and Rene; in-laws Steve and Vera Mostowich; brother-in-law Don Jaskiw; and best friend Amie Beaudoin. Al had a sparkling spirit and was a friend to everyone he met. He established a lengthy career owning and operating Goudreau Trucking. During his retirement, he enjoyed driving chartered bus. He had a passion for hockey and baseball. He adored his grandkids and was a wonderful papere to them. He loved spending his days with his faithful dog Maddy.
