James Kenneth Halladay



Ken Halladay passed away peacefully in his 93rd year with family by his side at St Joseph's Auxiliary Hospital. Predeceased by his parents, two brothers and one sister, beloved wife Mary Florene (nee Jardine) and grandson, Timothy Russell Halladay. Survived by his sister, Mary Kay Moran; children, John (Marie), Mary, Doug (Barbara), Ken and Liz; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. Formerly of Lorne Park, Ontario, Ken moved his family to Edmonton in 1975 where he worked for Majestic Pipeline Contractors. Ken enjoyed golfing at Leduc Golf course, genealogy, woodworking and spending time with his family. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Parish, 10826 62 Avenue, Edmonton on April 7, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Alberta, 10531 Kingsway Avenue, Edmonton T5H 4K1.
