Obituary

On February 27, 2015, James ďJimĒ Johnson passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at the age of 69 years, following a courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by Lillian Bowdring, his soulmate; three children, Trudi (Mike) Young, T.J., and Brittni Johnson (Nick Balen); grandson Jack; brother Ron (Mary-Ann) as well as extended family and friends. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Swain and three siblings.

Born June 18, 1945 in Eriksdale, Manitoba, Jim lived his life to the fullest in every area. His passions were his family and business where he created a culture of fairness, respect and excellence. Jimís presence had an impact on all of the lives he touched. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Jimís Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 Ė 114 Street, Edmonton.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Grey Nuns Hospital Palliative Unit 43 for their amazing care and compassion. MJP forever.
