It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Roméo Boissonnault of Edmonton on Monday, September 1, 2014 at the age of 80 years.
C’est avec grande tristesse et beaucoup d’amour que nous pleurons la mort de Roméo Boissonnault d’Edmonton le lundi 1er septembre 2014 à l’âge de 80 ans.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of nearly 60 years, Rogelle; children: Carmen (Doug) Stuart, Denis (Paula) Boissonnault, Rémi (Edna) Boissonnault, and Monique (Gary) Sedgwick; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings: Adolphe Boissonnault, and Sr. Antoinette Boissonnault f.J., and his sister-in-law, Marilda Boissonnault; brothers-in-law: Normand (Georgette), Donald (Claudette), Rémi (Denise), Claude (Sylvia), and Guy (Yvette); sisters-in-law: Nicole (Leo), and Thérèse; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents: Hector and Fleuristine Boissonnault; brothers: Camille and his wife, Blanche, and Léon; and his sister-in-law, Florence. He was also predeceased by his parents-in-law: Roger and Maria Cyr; brother-in-law, Bertrand; and sister-in-law, Rachelle.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, September 6, 2014 at St. Jean Baptiste Parish, 10020-100 Avenue, Morinville, Alberta.
Memorial Donations may be made in Roméo’s name to St. Jean Baptiste Parish Restoration Project, 10020-100 Avenue, Morinville, Alberta T8R 1P7.
