Our family helping your family since 1908 - Generations of Excellence

Jeanne Leonard

It is with great sadness that Jeanne''s family announces her passing on March 31, 2014.

Jeanne is survived by her loving family, her husband James (Jim); son Brian (Jackie); daughters, Patricia and Sharron; grandchildren, Kelly, Scott, Bradley, Janel, Brian (Jr.), Mitchell, Lindsay and Jeffrey; great-grandchildren, Breanna, Aydan, Jessica, Emma, Mitchell, Marshall, Shayne, Lily, Camden; and several nieces and nephews.

Jeanne was predeceased by her sister Sylvia; brothers, Peter and Louis; son James (Jr.); and grandson Bobby.

Jeanne was originally from England but made Edmonton her home for over 50 years. The combination of her English upbringing coupled with her loving and caring nature made her a special person to all who knew her. She will be very missed by her family and friends, but we can all take comfort in knowing that we now know an “angel by name”.

Jeanne was a long-time employee of ATCO and she valued her work and the friendships she made while working and into retirement.

A Memorial Gathering of Jeanne''s Life will be held at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114th Street, Edmonton on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

The family would like to say thank you to Dr. Hastings and the compassionate staff at the Caritas Edmonton General Hospital for their kindness and exceptional care during Jeanne’s illness.

In lieu of flowers, you may wish to make a donation to a charity of your choice.

In Loving Memory of
Jeanne Leonard
(Maiden: Sterling)
