Obituary

With tears our family announces mom''''''''s passing on February 9, 2014 at St. Joseph''''''''s Auxiliary Hospital. She suffered with Lung Cancer that metastasized to her brain. For the last three months she was surrounded daily and comforted by family who loved and cared for her.

Pauline was predeceased by her husband and best friend of 46 years, Charles and by her parents, Paul and Eva Vachon.

Pauline will be missed and remembered by her children, Diane (Daryl) Ammann and Raymond; grandchildren, Melissa (Jeremy), Natalie (Gerald) and Sydney; great-grandchildren, Annastacia, Natasha, Seth, Ethan, Tiffany and Cyana; siblings, Roland, Andre (Jeanne), Lea (Yvon) LaPointe, Simone and Henri (Corita); brother-in-laws, Leo (Janet) Anctil and Richard (Donna) Osberg; nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.

The family would like to extend a warm thank you to the many people that helped them through this journey in caring for their mom.

A Celebration of Pauline’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Connelly – McKinley Funeral Home, 4820 Meridian Street, Edmonton, Alberta. To access Meridian Street, you MUST be heading south on Highway 216. Access is 1 km south of the Sherwood Park Freeway.
