Edwin (Easy Ed) Kinsman



It is with hearts full of gratitude for his life and hearts full of sorrow for his death, that we announce the passing of Ed Kinsman on November 17, 2010, with his family by his side. Ed is forever loved and remembered by his high school sweetheart and wife of 56 years, Marcella; his children and their spouses, Brian (Kristie), Marlette (Daryl), Scott (Elaine) and Craig (Diana); his precious grandchildren, Kyle, Kendall, Kailey, Kevin, Kiara, Maeve and Adam. Ed is also survived by his twin sister, Helen Jobin; brothers, Andy (Faye) and Charlie (Rita); sisters-in-law, Olli (Bill) Bagshaw and Frances Kinsman; brother-in-law, Mike (Verna) Yaskiw; as well as nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Ed was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Nellie; his brother, Jack; and brothers-in-law, Tom Jobin and Mario DeMarco.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 22, 2010, at St. Alphonsus Church, 11828 - 85 Street, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB, T6G 1Z2. Special thanks to the staff of the Grey Nuns Palliative Care Unit and the Norwood Hospice.
