Obituary

It is with heavy hearts our family announces Doreen’s passing at age 83 following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Carlyle (Janis); granddaughters, Robyn, Jayme and Caylin; great grandsons, Thomas and Sebastian; sisters, Jeanne (Jim) Miller, Lois (Terry) Woods and Diane (Dennis) Burger; sister-in-law, Faye Letourneau; nieces, Lynne (Bill) Henderson and Maureen (David James) Ouellet; long time friend and caregiver, Denise (Drew) Fraser; as well as a large extended family and many dear friends.

Doreen was predeceased by her husband, Tom; sister, Phyllis Ouellet; brothers, Ken, Dale and Dennis Letourneau.

Prayers will be held Monday, July 9, 2012, 7:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 12810 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 10, 2012, 10:30 a.m. at the same location. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Capital Care Norwood for their compassion and care.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
