Dear Uncle Vic and your lovely family, The times I spent with Aunt Gladys will always bring warmth and sunshine to my heart. She always made me feel loved. She had such a happy heart and made life seem like a gift to be celebrated every day. The last time we spent together at Megan's wedding in Calgary was such a joy. It was easy to want to be around her and just have fun. She reminded me so much of my mom Loretta and I cherished that feeling. She was a gift to all of us and will remain forever in my heart. Much love to all.Terrilyn

Dear Uncle Vic and cousins, Our most heart-felt condolences to all of you. We are so sad to hear of Aunt Gladys's passing. I have been thinking of her often since Kurt's call. I remember visiting Vic, Gladys, and all when I was a young teenager. I was so very impressed with Vicki's jeans, and absolutely stunned to learn that Gladys had sewn them herself! I remember having homemade strawberry crepes for breakfast, and spending a wonderful week touring the sights and sounds of Edmonton - all orchestrated by Gladys; ... and of your family's visit to us in N.S. when we were all little. I believe that Vicki and I sung "Down By the Bay" about a million times that week, much to the adults' chagrin by day two. Please know that she was deeply loved and adored by all who knew her. Her light was such that anything else was impossible. With much love, The Nova Scotia cousins Kim, Mark, Liam and Claire
