Mary-Ann Grimes

To the Grime/Campbell Families, Unfortunately I have been out of town and was unable to attend Mary-Ann's Funeral. I have always known Mary-Ann as such a friendly, out-going person who is genuinely interested & concerned in one's well-being. It is never easy losing a wife, mother and a great friend to all that knew her. May you seek comfort in cherishing all the special times and memories you shared with her. A donation to the Edmonton Humane Society has been made in her memory. Sincerely, Ken Lucki

Hello. I wanted you to know how deeply sad and sorry I am feeling at Mary-Ann's passing. She taught both of my children at Capilano School and she was their absolute favourite teacher. Some children aren't the easiest to teach, but she was such a caring, accepting and above all inspiring person for both of my kids. She instilled a love of music for my children which continues for them to this day, but mostly, they were so happy with Mrs. Grimes! What more could a parent ask? Thank you for sharing such a lovely soul with the world. She has left it a better place through all the many children she cared for in such a special way. May peace find you in time and your memories give you joy.

Words cannot express how sad I am for you all with the passing of your wife, mother, sister, friend. Mary-Ann had such a kind heart and joyful spirit that I know she will be missed by everyone who knew her. My fondest memory was our outing on Dec. 11/17 to Choir! Choir! Choir! Mary-Ann was in pain but managed to enjoy herself, singing and making new friends. She even arranged to pay for a lady's parking while we waited for it to start. That's the kind of woman she was. I know how hard it must have been for her to leave you all. I pray that you are able to find solace in knowing that her suffering is over and you'll see her again some day. Heaven has a new angel.
