Condolences

My sincere condolences, Anne was a dear and treasured friend, I will never forget her and her kind ways. Helping me throughout my upbringing of my kids, and always being there through thick and thin. Her pink soup, as my kids always called it was my familys favorite!! She was always cooking and helping everyone. Her kind and thoughtful ways will always be cherished. My prayers and support are with each and everyone of her amazing children. I love you all!! I wish I could have been with you in Edmonton, but know that I am with you in my prayers. Family and friends meant everything to Anne, and everyones life she touched will be a better person because of Anne. God bless you all, and try to remember all the good times, you know thats what she would have wanted.

We mourn with you for the passing of your Mother. She had such a beautiful and kind soul. Although we were unable to spend much time together through the years, she was able to keep us close with her frequent letters to our Mother. I remember how happy our Mother was to receive those letters and pictures of all of you. It helped her remain connected to her Canadian roots. Our Mother would read them many times and your pictures were always posted on the refridgerator. It is just another display of what an incredible since of family your Mother had. We will miss her and hope to see all of you soon.

Just thinking when I saw Anne's picture , how wonderful it was when she and Ray live here in Red Deer. Ray and Anne would come to pancake breakfast at St Mary's church and Ray was a great Knight of Columbus Volunteer. May Gods grace shine apron your whole family .

We are so sad to hear of Anne's passing. We speak of her so often, especially when we are considering more travel. She kept saying "Go while you can". She & Ray certainly did. Your Mom/Grandma always had a special place in my (Betty's) heart as we saw her so often at Woodward's in Southgate. Whenever I was having a hard day as mother of 3 small boys I would pile them in the car and head to Southgate. When we saw Anne, she always had a big smile and a few minutes for all of us. She always made my day brighter and more manageable. I loved her dearly. She was a ray of sunshine. Our prayers are with you all.

It is with deep sadness that we received the news of the passing of Ann on April 17. Over the past 10 years, we enjoyed the company and friendship of Ann as good neighbor and friend in Red Deer. We always enjoyed our get togethers over a cup of coffee, relaxing meal at our home or restaurant , our shopping trips to the mall, and our weekly goings to church at St. Mary's. We always found and to be a pleasant, charming, positive and gentle lady who loved to talk about her family and children and her life growing up in a small town. We often shared our good stories about life experiences, cooking ethnic and traditional foods, and enjoying each others company. During the past couple of years, we enjoyed her visits with Phil to our home and keeping in touch with her on the phone. We shall deeply miss Ann and wish to extend our deepest condolences to her family. We will keep you all in our prayers. PRAYING THAT ANN MAY REST IN PEACE.

In my loving memories of my God Mother, Auntie Ann, for your doors were always open to me like your arms of warn hugs, and smiles. Your presoius sense of humour and love of music. Singning with your loving sisters & brother, making family gatherings memorible. The treasured long good byes at the door and now the one good bye I never like to make. Rest now, and be at peace and know that I will have a special love for you. For all the family even though there is miles between us the distance is shorter in my heart. Know that I am there for each and every one of you.

Like stars that shine in the heavens. A godmother's endless love. Lights the way for her godchild, as the Lord gives a nod from above. She was chosen because of her goodness. And too, for her gentle side. But also because her godchild, could view her with love & pride. For she is a perfect example of all that a person should be. A kind and caring guardian, standing by for eternity. Auntie Anne will forever be held in my heart & I know she will be watching over me. All my love & prayers Cheryl Cleverdon

So many years have passed and we were always far apart, but Anne always had a special place in my heart. She did my makeup when we were married over 50 years ago. Unplanned, but needed. We always hoped she and Ray would take their RV down to our area but it never happened. I remember her energetically chasing 4 little people always with a smile on her face. We were blessed to have her as a special part of our family. I will have a Mass offered for her from our parish here. Our condolences to the Croteau family. Cherish your memories. You are in our prayers. Terry and Dave Markle, Theresa and Ken Garrett
